1. Who we are

Aliquora ("Aliquora", "we", "our", or "us") operates the website at aliquora.com and the Aliquora laboratory information management system (LIMS) at app.aliquora.com.

You can reach us at hello@aliquora.com.

2. What data we collect

Marketing website visitors

  • A session identifier stored in localStorage for first-party analytics (page views and trial-start events). This identifier is not linked to your identity and is not shared with third parties.
  • Form submissions: if you fill in our contact or free-trial enquiry form we collect your name, work email address, and any optional details you provide (lab type, team size, notes).

Registered application users

  • Account data: name, work email address, job title, and a hashed password.
  • Lab data: sample records, test results, QC data, and other laboratory information you or your organisation enters into Aliquora. This data belongs to your organisation.
  • Audit log data: records of who performed which action and when, which are required for regulatory traceability.
  • Usage data: application events (feature use, error reports) used to improve the product.

3. How we use your data

  • To provide and operate the Aliquora service.
  • To respond to enquiries and support requests.
  • To send transactional emails (e.g. password resets, notification alerts you have opted into).
  • To improve the product using aggregated, anonymised usage analytics.
  • To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not use your lab data to train AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Data storage and security

Data is stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted in the United States. All data is encrypted in transit using TLS 1.2 or higher. We enforce tenant isolation so that one organisation's data is never accessible to another organisation.

We maintain an append-only audit trail for regulated data. Access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, we retain your data for 90 days to allow export, after which it is deleted. Audit log records are retained for a minimum of two years to support regulatory obligations.

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months.

6. Cookies and local storage

The marketing website uses a single first-party session identifier stored in localStorage for anonymous analytics. No third-party tracking cookies are set on the marketing site.

The application uses session cookies (HTTP-only, Secure) to maintain your login state. No persistent advertising cookies are used.

7. Third-party services

We use the following sub-processors to deliver the service:

  • Stripe — payment processing. Card data is handled by Stripe and never touches our servers.
  • Resend / Gmail (Google Workspace) — transactional email delivery.
  • Replit — cloud infrastructure and hosting.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you are located, you may have rights under the GDPR, CCPA, or other applicable data-protection law to access, correct, delete, or export the personal data we hold about you, or to object to certain processing.

To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@aliquora.com. We will respond within 30 days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email.
