Feed & Agriculture Labs
Feed mills, grain handlers, and ag-input labs run high volumes of proximate, mycotoxin, and nutrient testing on tight turnarounds. Aliquora structures every lot from intake to COA — without the overhead of an enterprise LIMS.
What Aliquora handles for Feed & Ag
- Log feed, grain, forage, and soil samples by lot and supplier
- Flag results against guaranteed analysis and regulatory limits
- Enter or import proximate and mycotoxin results in bulk
- Generate branded COAs and lot-summary PDFs
- Audit log support for every result and approval
How it works
A typical feed & ag workflow in Aliquora
- 1
Receive and log the lot
Register each incoming sample with its lot or load number, supplier, commodity type (corn, soybean meal, complete feed, forage), and collection date. Bulk intake from a CSV keeps pace with high-volume receiving.
- 2
Assign the test panel
Select the analyses for the commodity — proximates (moisture, protein, fat, fiber, ash), mycotoxins, minerals, or amino acids. Guaranteed-analysis targets and regulatory limits are configured per commodity so every result is judged against the right spec.
- 3
Enter or import results
Key in NIR or wet-chemistry readings, or upload an instrument CSV. Aliquora compares each value to its configured guarantee or limit and flags shortfalls and exceedances immediately.
- 4
Review flagged lots
Out-of-spec results — a protein shortfall, an aflatoxin exceedance — hold the lot until an analyst records a disposition: retest, confirmed result, or override with justification. Every action is logged.
- 5
Release the COA
Once approved, generate a branded PDF Certificate of Analysis listing each analyte, its guarantee or limit, and pass/fail status — ready for the customer or the regulator.
Feed and ag labs reporting against AAFCO guarantees or state feed-control programs need documented, traceable results. Aliquora's per-action audit log records who entered, edited, reviewed, and approved every result with a timestamp and user identity.
Frequently asked questions
- Can we test against guaranteed analysis values?
- Yes. Each test type has a configured target or limit — a 'not less than' protein guarantee, a maximum moisture, or a mycotoxin action level — and Aliquora flags any result that falls outside it automatically.
- Can we handle high sample volumes at receiving?
- Yes. Samples can be registered in bulk from a CSV, and results can be imported the same way, so a busy feed mill or grain lab can keep pace during harvest and receiving peaks.
- Does Aliquora support proximate and mycotoxin panels?
- You define your own test types, so proximates (moisture, protein, fat, fiber, ash), mycotoxins (aflatoxin, DON, fumonisin), minerals, and amino acids are all configurable with their own specs and units.
- Can we produce a COA for customers?
- Yes. Approved results generate a branded PDF listing each analyte with its guarantee or limit and pass/fail status, ready to share as a Certificate of Analysis with your customers.
